Studio Policies

Arriving at the Studio

  • Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and place them in a cubbie outside the door.

  • Bring your own mat and props when possible, limited props available for lending.

  • Bring a water bottle and make sure it has a lid to prevent spills. Filtered water is available.

  • If you are feeling ill, please stay home.

  • Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the studio and across the street

  • All new students are required to fill out a waiver form before participating in the first class.

  • Please hang your coats on the hooks inside the studio

  • Please turn off/silence your devices. No phones are allowed in the studio. Turn your smart watch on theater mode or leave it outside.

  • If you are a few minutes late, enter the room very quietly so you do not disturb the students and the teacher in class.

  • If you need to leave early, notify your teacher in advance and leave before savasana so as not to disturb the final resting pose of class.

Should I register in advance?

For the most seamless studio experience, we recommend registering for class in advance.

  • Members may register for classes 2 weeks in advance

  • Non-members may register for classes 1 week in advance

  • Class full? Not to worry! Waitlist WORKS. We will notify you when you get into class, at least 15 minutes before the start of the class.

  • Need to register upon walking in? We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance of class to create a Walla account, sign waivers and familiarize yourself with our space.

Class Card Policies

There is a two-year expiration date: on class cards purchased at full price, please check for specific expiration dates when purchasing a special or discounted pass.

  • All passes are nonrefundable. In the case of medical or other extenuating circumstances, exceptions may be made in some cases. If a refund is deemed the appropriate solution, the purchaser will incur a 25% return charge if paid with a credit card.

  • Sharing passes: Class cards are non-transferrable except in the case of a spouse or child.

  • Discounted pricing: for students, seniors, members of the armed services, and teachers. Discounted passes are not available for online purchase — please redeem in person with an appropriate ID. (10% discount)

  • Introduction package: for three weeks unlimited, available for new clients only on their first visit to Sundara Yoga.

Series Class Policy

  • Series classes offer our clients a special focused class: prenatal yoga, kid’s yoga, mommy and me yoga, beginners series, etc.
    Class card cannot be used to pay for series and Workshops

  • Perinatal Flex Pass: Prenatal and Mommy&Me classes are included in the Perinatal Flex Pass which has a 4 or 8 classes series options (please refer to pricing options), the Perinatal Flex Pass expires in 12 months (one year from the first visit).

  • Refunds: In cases of prolonged illness or emergency circumstances, refunds for unused, non-expired series may be granted, minus a processing fee. Please submit your request in writing.

Signed up for a class and can’t make it?

  • Please cancel your reservation at least 4 hours prior to the beginning of class. For Aerial Classes, please cancel at least 24 hours pior to the beginning of the class. If you miss the cancellation window, it will count as “no-show.” Pass holders will loose the pass and members will incur a no-show fee.

  • You may cancel your class by logging back into where you originally registered for class and choosing ‘’cancel’’.

  • If you’re unable to cancel online, you may email us at murielle@sundarayogame.com or call the studio at 207-380-6972 to cancel your class reservation.

Workshop / Training cancelation and refund policy

  • Workshop: If you sign up and pay for a workshop and are unable to attend please contact us to cancel at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of the workshop. If your request for cancellation is received within the 72 hours period that is required you can get a refund minus a processing fee.

  • Absence to a workshop is non-refundable, If you cancel within 72 hours of the workshop or after it has taken place, a refund or credit will not be possible.

  • Workshops could occasionally be cancelled by the studio due to insufficient interest, or if a teacher has an emergency. If the workshop is cancelled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund or full credit.

  • Training: If you sign up and pay for a training and are unable to attend please contact us to cancel at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled time of the training. If your request for cancellation is received within the 6 weeks period that is required you can get a refund minus a processing fee.

  • Absence to a training is non-refundable.

  • Workshops or Training could occasionally be cancelled by the studio due to insufficient interest, or if a teacher has an emergency. If the training is cancelled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund or full credit.
